Profile
The COMMAND Center concrete temperature and maturity system is used to measure and log concrete temperature history, calculate maturity, and evaluate in-place strength. The system employs small, self-powered sensors placed in fresh concrete that automatically measure temperature data at predetermined intervals and store data internally. Data is retrieved from the sensors and analyzed with free COMMAND Center software, which can display temperature and temperature differential data, automatically provide calibrated maturity curves based on break data entered by the user, and calculate and display maturity and corresponding strength data of in-place concrete as it cures. Construction teams use COMMAND Center to satisfy project requirements for temperature and/or maturity monitoring, expedite project schedules, increase safety, and improve construction methods. COMMAND Center is ASTM C 1074 compliant.

COMMAND Center Wireless Kit
Includes a 6th generation iPod touch, rugged and waterproof iPod case, 3 SRMs, and 50 sensors.

Sensor Reader Module
A reusable Bluetooth transmitter for use with COMMAND Center for iOS. Transmit COMMAND Center Sensor data wirelessly to an iOS app for iPhone, iPod, and iPad. COMMAND Center Sensors connect to a reusable Sensor Reader Module SRM that transfers the data to the iOS app via Bluetooth or stores data locally for later transfer. SRMs can transmit data approximately 30 feet, depending on sources of interference. SRMs have a battery life of two weeks and require AAA batteries.

COMMAND Center Sensor
COMMAND Center Sensors carefully measure and store temperature readings at fixed intervals depending on your specific needs for monitoring concrete temperature and strength gain. -Small, self-powered sensors continuously collect and store data for two years, under warranty. -One sensor used for both temperature and maturity. -Sensors do not require initialization in the field. -View and analyze multiple sensors at once. -Customize sensor lengths and time interval settings. Sensor Lengths COMMAND Center Sensors are available in three standard lengths, 4 feet, 8 feet and 15 feet. If you need a custom length sensor, we can build them to your specified length for a small surcharge. Standard length sensors are always in stock. Custom length sensors can take one to two weeks additional lead time. Sensor Measurement Intervals We configure the sensor to measure concrete temperatures at any time interval required usually specified by the customer. Once a sensor reaches its internal capacity of 2,048 total temperature readings, new data will continue to be collected but will roll over and overwrite the oldest data. However, you will never lose collected data as long as you save the sensor file within COMMAND Center software. For example, if the sensor needs to measure the concrete temperature every 30 minutes as required for concrete maturity applications per ASTM C 1074, then the sensor will hold about 42 days of consecutive temperature readings taken 30 minutes apart. If you save the sensor data in COMMAND Center software before 42 days, you will not lose any data. You could monitor and store a sensors data for years if you needed to! The total collection of consecutive readings varies in length by how often the readings are takenthe more frequent the temperature needs to be taken, the smaller the window of total buffered readings. When buying COMMAND Center Sensors, you specify which measurement interval youll need for your project, from 1 to 255 minutes. The interval can be customized for any application, be it to estimate concrete compressive strength, show concrete strength gain with time, allow for quick form release, to compress build schedules, or simply to monitor concrete temperature.

COMMAND Center Software
COMMAND Center software is powerful enough to accurately analyze and display internal concrete temperature measurements and estimate in-place strength. Though it is powerful, COMMAND Center software is extremely easy to use. -Use multiple equations to easily and automatically create maturity curves. -Choose between Nurse-Saul and Arrhenius maturity functions. -View and analyze peak temperature data for individual sensors or multiple sensors at once. -View and analyze temperature differentials between sensors. -Share data immediately from the field. -Create professional PDF reports. COMMAND Center concrete temperature and maturity monitoring software can help you: -Monitor cold weather effects on concrete strength gain and ensure your curing techniques are keeping the concrete warm enough. -Ensure internal concrete temperatures dont exceed maximum values in hot weather placements. -Know the maximum internal temperatures and differentials in mass concrete placements, as required by thermal control plans and job specifications. -Monitor in-place concrete strength in real time. -Compress the schedule, reducing contractor hours and costs. -Load structures as soon as concrete reaches required strength. -Know youve met strength requirements for form removal and post-tensioning operations. -Enable post-tensioning tendons to be stressed sooner. -Ensure youve met strength requirements for opening to traffic, in new concrete patches and in full-depth slab replacements. -Reduce the amount of test cylinders or beams needed -Improve quality control and mix designs. -Meet ASTM and AASHTO standards. All COMMAND Center software files are compatible between devices so you can use any combination seamlessly. All COMMAND Center software types are free to download.
