We opened in the fall of 1936. This location is one of the premier fishing spots and fishing resorts in the country. Located in Genoa, Wisconsin, the heart of the 240,000 acre Upper Mississippi River Refuge. Our superb fishing brings you Walleye, Sauger, Northern Pike, Bluegill, Crappie, Perch, Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, White Bass, Catfish and Shovelnose Sturgeon

Welcome to Captain Hook's Bait & Tackle in Genoa, WI
For your convenience, Captain Hook's Bait & Tackle is open year round seven days a week. We carry all Wisconsin hunting and fishing licenses.

We sell snack foods, beer, pop, ice and all accessories needed for a day of fishing.

Besides live bait and tackle, we offer rain coats, Stormy Kromer hats, MaxHD sunglasses, signature sweat shirts and t-shirts and 20 or 30 gallon LP exchange.

Check out the new Admiral’s House which sleeps up to 12 and Captain’s Quarters which sleeps up to 4.
