In 1998, we opened our doors in Gulfport, Florida, as Thai-rific Orchids, with the idea of only importing gifts, home decor, and orchid plants from Thailand and Hawaii.
We started selling edible orchids for food and cake garnishes to hotels, restaurants, and bakeries throughout the Tampa Bay area.
With requests to design and produce orchid arrangements and wedding bouquets, our full-service florist division was born, specializing in fresh leis and beach weddings.
Leis became a popular category and we officially changed our name to Thai Orchids and Leis.Enjoy our Beautiful Zen Garden with the many plants, a large selection of Orchids, many wonderful Garden Statues, and fountains.
We were one of the original 7 vendors of the popular St. Petersburg Saturday Morning Market.
We began bringing our fresh-cut orchid stems, orchid plants, and gifts to the downtown area, where you can still find our booth every weekend.
